Guidelines for loading learning paths to Oracle Learning using Specialization

When activity sequencing is turned off, use the Specialization object and HCM Data Loader to load learning paths and related learning objects. When activity sequencing is turned on, use SpecializationV3.

To verify that the learning path and related learning objects loaded, go to My Client Groups > Learning and Development > Learning Catalog.

Specialization object hierarchy and processing order

Here's the hierarchy and processing order for the Specialization learning objects:

  1. Specialization (processing order: 106080)

    1. SpecializationDefaultAccess

    2. SpecializationSection

      1. SpecializationSectionActivity
  2. SpecializationTranslation (processing order: 106081)
  3. SpecializationSectionTranslation (processing order: 106082)

Learning paths that you create using HCM Data Loader use the default access values configured on the Manage Default Access page.

The default NumberOfActivitiesToComplete value for the SpecializationSection component is -1, which requires learners to complete all activities in the section.

Example of loading a learning path

Here's how you can create a learning path with two sections and two section activities using Specialization and source keys.
