Translate Workforce Structures Fields in Multiple Installed Languages in Redwood
You can use the Redwood Translation Editor to seamlessly translate workforce structures fields into different languages directly on some of the Redwood search pages.
This tool lets you easily manage translations directly in the page, with support for all the installed languages and instant updates. You don’t need to switch user sessions to access another language.

Use Generative AI in the Translation Editor
You can also use Generative AI in the Translation Editor in the Redwood workforce structures search pages. It enhances the translation experience by leveraging artificial intelligence to help you generate and refine localized content directly within the editor.
It helps you produce accurate translations for the workforce structures fields across multiple languages instead of translating them manually. This helps improve the consistency, speed, and quality of localized content while allowing you to review and edit translations before publishing.
Translate Workforce Structures Fields in the Required Language
Let’s see how you translate workforce structures fields in the language of your choice. In this example, you’ll see how to translate a job name to the Canadian French language.

Go to My Client Groups > Jobs.

Search for the job whose name you want to translate.

In the search results, select the row of the job and select Translation Editor.

In the Translation Editor window, in the Language column, select Canadian French.

Select Edit.

Enter the Canadian French translation for the job name manually, or select the Generate button to generate the translation using Generative AI.

Select Update.
Key Points About the Translation Editor
Here are some key points to note about the Translation Editor:

The Translation Editor button remains disabled by default, and it’s enabled only when you select a record.

Only those text fields that have a value and are translatable will appear in the translation panel drawer.

Updates done in the Translation Editor aren’t routed for approvals.

Translation Editor isn’t available for records that have pending transactions.

The Generate button is displayed by default.

Note: The translations that you generate using Generative AI may contain inaccuracies. You need to review them before you update them.
