How do I create a task in Journeys?

Hello, in this video, I’ll explain how to create a task in Journeys.
First, there are a few considerations when creating tasks. Whether it’s a predefined task or a brand new task, a task only becomes relevant when you add it to a journey. Most times you can use the predefined tasks that are available, but sometimes you may have to create new tasks altogether, which is what we will focus on in this video.
You may choose to create a new task when:

You create a personal journey
-
You edit a personal journey, or
-
When you manage an assigned journey.
Let’s say your company wants to enable new hires the ability to provide proof of their COVID vaccinations within the first 7 days of their employment.
You first need to create a new journey, then create a new task. Let’s see how this is done. We’re logged in as Curtis Feitty who is an HR Specialist. From the Home page, click My Client Groups. Then in the Apps section, click Journeys.
From the Home page, click My Client Groups.
Click Journeys.
Notice the Explore tab which is only available for line managers and HR Specialists. Click Explore. On the Assigned Organization Journeys page, on the Explore tab, click the Explore tab.
Click the Explore tab.
On the Explore page, click Create Journey.
On the Explore page, click Create Journey.
On the Create Journey page you have the option to create a new journey, or select an existing journey to modify it. Create a journey.
On the Create Journey page, select New Journey.
Enter a Display Name.
On the New Journey page in the Display Name field, enter Vaccination Certificate.
In the Category field we’ll select On Boarding since this is for new hires.
In the Category drop-down list, select On Boarding.
In the Archive After Months field we'll enter 3. Click Save and Continue.

Click Save and Continue.
We’re now ready to add a task. Click Add. Notice that you can select and update an existing task from the task library or you can create a new task.
In the Tasks in this journey section, click + Add.
On New Task page, click the Create a task link.
Enter a Task Name.
On the New Task page in the Task Name field, enter Provide COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
Enter a description.
In the Task Description field, enter Vaccination proof for employees.
Add instructions for the assignee.
In the Add instructions for this task field, enter Please upload your COVID-19 vaccination record..
Since this will be a manual task for the worker, in the Task Type field we’ll select Manual task.
In the Task Type drop-down list, select Manual task.
New hires will have 7 days to complete the task.
In the Duration field, enter 7.
In the Time Unit drop-down list, select Days.
In the When does the task expire field, We'll select After assigned date.
In the When does the task expire drop-down list, select After assigned date.
In the After how many days field, we’ll enter 10.
In the After how many days field, enter 10.
In the Performer field verify it is set to worker as it will be the worker completing the task.
In the Performer drop-down list, select Worker.
In the Owner field, we’ll select Initiator as we’ll be the one managing this task.
In the Owner drop-down list, select Initiator.
We want this to be a required task so we’ll select Make this task mandatory.
Select Make this task mandatory.
So that we don’t have to create this task again, select Save to my personal task library.
Select Save to my personal task library.
And since we want new hires to upload a document, we’ll select Enable attachments.
Select Enable attachments.
In the Add attachments to document records field, we’ll select COVID-19 Vaccination.
In the Add attachments to document records drop-down list, select COVID-19 Vaccination.
Click Save. The go back. And the journey gets added to the Explore page as a personal journey and you can now see the Personal filter chip that is only visible to you if you have at least one personal journey.
Click Save.
By the Vaccination Certificate header, click the back arrow.
A few things to keep in mind:

Personal journeys aren’t available in the Checklist Templates and Allocate Checklists responsive flows.

New tasks are added to the end of the existing task list in the journeys page.

And after you assign a task to a performer, you can edit the due date, reassign the task, or remove it.
