Address Validation for the US

Use the Manage Features by Country or Territory task to control US-specific programmatic validation rules and address validation for your organization.

For example, if you're performing large HCM Data Loader batch load of addresses, you may find it faster to disable the automatic address validation at the individual upload file or business object level.

You must validate person residence and work address data prior to using any payroll features if you have:

  • Switched the product extension from Payroll Interface or Human Resources or None to Payroll

  • Made changes to addresses while address validation wasn't turned on

  • Never activated address line 1 validation

Oracle offers address search and validation down to the street level. You must enable the feature by setting the validation method.
