Assignment Notes in Redwood Update Employment Processes

You can now record additional notes while making employment changes using the Redwood employment processes.

By default, the Notes field is hidden. You have to enable it using Business Rules. The Assignment Notes is a separate fragment that's added under Assignment in Business Rules.

Here are some key points to note about this attribute

• Notes is a rich text field in which you can enter up to 4000 characters.
• If you add an image to the rich text editor, it can use up the 4000 character limit if the image size is large. Therefore, it's recommended to use only text or smaller size images.
• In update processes, notes aren't copied from a prior date-effective record.
• You can delete notes using the Remove Person Information feature.
• Notes are stored in the per_assignment_notes table.
