Salary Considerations for Request My Assignment Change

When employees use the Request My Assignment Change process to update an assignment attribute that can affect salary, the application doesn't automatically update salary. This can include attributes such as working hours, FTE, adjusted FTE, grade, location, or business unit depending on your organization's configuration.

What you need to do

If you enable employees to update assignment attributes that can affect salary, you need to review the employee's salary after the request is approved. A line manager or HR specialist need to manually create the salary (using an action such as Change Salary), with the same effective date as the assignment change.

Alternatively, don’t include such salary impacting attributes in the Request My Assignment Change page.
