Events and Quick Actions in My Activity Center
Employees can switch between timeline and list views to review historical and upcoming events. Quick actions help you navigate to often used Redwood applications.
Events include information such as:
- Past and upcoming absences
- Past salary changes
- Past annual performance documents
- Past and upcoming holidays
- Past payslips
- Year-end documents
- Employment actions such as hire and transfers in the past
- Probation end date
- Retirement and termination
- Work anniversaries
- Completed learning
A few things to note:
- Navigation from the analytic cards and events is to the Redwood apps even if you haven't enabled Redwood theme in those areas. For example, if you select the Payslip card, you'll be redirected to the Redwood enabled Payroll application instead of the responsive Payroll application.
- Only active workers and suspended workers can access their My Activity Center. Terminated workers can't.
- If a worker has multiple assignments, they can select their assignment from the switcher in My Activity Center.
- In the Timeline view, the date displayed at the end will always be in the MM/DD format.
- The data displayed on the My Activity Center page is based on UTC time and not on the user’s time zone.
Quick actions
You can pin frequently used quick actions so that they appear at the beginning of the list. You can pin a maximum of 10 quick actions.
You can retain pinned quick actions across sessions, when you’re viewing My Activity Center or Person Activity on the same browser or computer.
A manager can have a set of pinned actions for their own My Activity Center and another set for their team member’s Person Activity Center. Once a manager selects or changes pinned actions for a team member, the same changes will apply to all their team members.
