Create Account Manager Custom Role

As an administrator, you can create the account manager custom role:

  1. Go to Tools > Security Console > Administration page > Roles.

    • Copied role name prefix: Account Manager

    • Copied role name suffix: Custom

    • Copied role code prefix: CRM_

      Note:

      Ensure there is a space after the prefix for account manager and space before the suffix for CRM_.

    • Copied role name suffix: _CUSTOM

  2. Go to Security Console, Roles and search for the Sales Manager role.

  3. Select the Sales Manager role. A visualization of the role and its hierarchy appears.

    The role code is ORA_ZBS_SALES_MANAGER_JOB.

  4. In the search results, click the down arrow for the selected application role and select Copy Role.

  5. In the Copy Options dialog box, select the copy option for Copy Top Role and Inherited Roles. Click Copy Role.

  6. On the Copy Role: Basic Information page, review and edit:

    • Role Name: Account Manager Custom

    • Role Code: ACCOUNT_MANAGER_CUSTOM

    • Description values as appropriate

  7. Click the Summary and Impact Report train stop.

  8. Click Submit and Close, then OK to close the confirmation message.

  9. Select the check box for Role Copy Status in Administration tab. Wait for the status to be Complete.
