Assign Custom Roles

Custom roles enable users to perform various tasks. As an administrator, you can assign custom roles to the users:

  1. Navigate to Tools > Security Console > Users tab.

  2. Search for the sales manager user role and click the user name.

  3. Add sales manager custom role to this account.

  4. Repeat steps for sales administrator, marketing manager, sales representative, channel account manager, channel operations manager, partner administrator, and partner sales manager.

    Note:

    For the sales administrator user ensure that you add the custom objects administrator role to the user. This role is required to create Import and Export artifacts.

  5. Add channel operation manager custom role to the marketing manager user.
