To change the text of buttons individually:
- On the Interview tab, select the button in the screen layout view.
- Click the button once to enable edit mode.
- Type the new text for the button. Press Enter. The button in the screen layout view is updated to show the new text.
Clicking the reset button when the button text is in edit mode in the screen layout view enables you to reset the button text to the default or global text for the button.
Note: To change the text used to represent attribute values on Boolean input controls, such as 'Yes', 'No', 'Uncertain' and 'Unknown', see Change the Text Strings for Boolean Attribute Values. The clear button text for signature controls cannot be edited on an individual basis for August 2016 version interviews.
