Configure the Footer

The footer section of the interview page can be configured to change the text and the style.

Show or hide the footer

To show the footer:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text No Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, select the Footer check box.
  5. Click OK.

To show or hide the footer when the interview is embedded in an iframe:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window:
    • select the Hide when embedded check box to hide the footer when the interview is embedded
    • deselect the Hide when embedded check box to show the footer when the interview is embedded
  5. Click OK.

To hide the footer:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, deselect the Footer check box.
  5. Click OK.

Change the footer text

To change the text in the footer:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, enter:
    • the left hand footer text in the Left field
    • the right hand footer text in the Right field
  5. Click OK.

Tip: HTML can be used in footer text to change its appearance. For more information, see Change the Appearance of Text Using HTML Tags.

Change the style of the footer

To change the style of the footer, including the font, font size, font style, text color and background color:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, click on Footer Style.
  5. In the pop-up window, change the style settings as required. The following style changes are supported:
    • Font (family)
    • Font size (note that in the font Size field you can type in a specific font point size, for example, 10px)
    • Bold text
    • Italic text
    • Text color
    • Background color
  6. Click OK.

Add a change language button to the footer

Note: This feature is only available in Latest Version Interviews.

To provide users with the ability to change the language of an interview at any point, you need to add a change language button to the footer (or header or both). The button is displayed in the top right of the footer. When clicked by the end user, a menu showing the list of available languages is displayed.

To add a change language button to the footer:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, select the Change language check box.

To change the image used for the change language button:

  1. On the Interview tab, click the Styles button.
  2. In the Styles dialog box, select the Styling tab.
  3. Click the text Footer.
  4. In the pop-up window, click in the image box to the right of the Change language check box.
  5. In the pop-up window, either:
    • Enter a URL for an image located on another server, or
    • Click Browse to locate an image stored locally, or
    • Click Clear to remove the image currently used for the change language button.
  6. Click OK.
