Adding automatic segment campaigns

Automatic segment campaigns allow you to link a new or existing segment to an automatic campaign. Members will get awarded as soon as they enter the segment. Use automatic segment campaigns to expand beyond simple triggers like birthday and anniversary and define your own criteria based on a segment.

Note: All automatic rewards, with the exception of points gifts, must first be added to the List of Automatic Rewards.

To add an automatic segment campaign:

  1. In Control Center, navigate to Rewards > Automatic Rewards > Segmentation Campaign.
  2. Click Add Segmentation Campaign.
  3. Configure the details for your campaign:

    • General
      • Name: Specify a name for this automatic reward campaign.
    • Duration
      • Start Date / Start Time: Specify the date and time in which the campaign shall start.
      • Set end date?: Enable this option if you would like to automatically end the campaign at a specified End Date and End Time.
    • Segment: Select the segment that will earn this automatic reward.
    • Existing Member Eligibility: Select whether existing members of the segment are eligible to receive the automatic reward.
    • Frequency Cap: Set the amount of times a member can earn this automatic reward in a time period.
      • Limited: Set a limit to a specific number of times per day, month, year, and so on.
      • Unlimited: There is no cap on the number of times a member can earn this automatic reward.
    • Select an Automatic Reward

      Note: All automatic rewards, with the exception of points gifts, must first be added to the List of Automatic Rewards.

      • Standard
      • Coupon Code
      • Download
      • Points Gift
    • Notification Email: Specify whether or not to notify the member about the reward by email.
      • Do not send a notification email to the member: A notification email is not sent to the member.
      • Send a notification email to the member: The member will receive a notification email.
    • Activity Title
      • Custom Activity Title: Set the message that will be displayed in Activity History widgets when the point gift is awarded.
      • Tags: Use tags to group and organize activities.
  4. Additional Languages (optional): Click Additional Languages (top-right) to provide translations.
    • Select the language from the drop-down.
    • Custom Activity Title: Set the message that will be displayed in Activity History widgets in the selected language.
  5. Click Create Campaign.
