Adding standard automatic reward campaigns

Automatic rewards are ways to award loyalty members without them having to explicitly engage with the loyalty program site or widgets. They allow you to surprise loyalty members by awarding them for reaching milestones like leveling up in the program, reaching a point threshold, or member anniversaries and birthdays.

Note: All automatic rewards, with the exception of points gifts, must first be added to the List of Automatic Rewards.

To add a standard automatic reward campaign:

  1. In Control Center, navigate to Rewards > Automatic Rewards > Standard.
  2. Click Add Standard Campaign.
  3. Configure the details for your automatic reward campaign:

    • General
      • Name: Specify a name for this automatic reward campaign.
    • Duration
      • Make this campaign active: Enable this option if you would like to activate the campaign.
      • Start Date / Start Time: Specify the date and time in which the campaign shall start. The campaign will only start if it is set to active.
      • Set end date?: Enable this option if you would like to automatically end the campaign at a specified End Date and End Time.
    • Select Rewards Trigger
      • Status-Based
        • Reaching a Level: The reward is granted when the member reaches the specified tier.
        • Lifetime Point Threshold: The reward is granted when the member's lifetime point total exceeds the specified minimum number of points.
        • Birthday: The reward is granted on the birthday of the member.
          • Limit this reward to following tier only: Enable this option to limit the reward to the chosen tier.

        • Anniversary: The reward is granted on the join-date anniversary of the member.
          • Limit this reward to following tier only: Enable this option to limit the reward to the chosen tier.

        • Tenure: The reward is granted after the member has been a member of the program for the specified number of days.
      • Purchase-Based
        • Purchase an item from one group: Click Upload CSV to provide a list of the qualifying items.
    • Select an Automatic Reward

      Note: All automatic rewards, with the exception of points gifts, must first be added to the List of Automatic Rewards.

      • Standard
      • Coupon Code
      • Download
      • Points Gift
    • Notification Email: Specify whether or not to notify the member about the reward by email.
      • Do not send a notification email to the member: A notification email is not sent to the member.
      • Send a notification email to the member: The member will receive a notification email.
    • Activity Title
      • Custom Activity Title: Set the message that will be displayed in Activity History widgets when the point gift is awarded.
      • Tags: Use tags to group and organize activities.
  4. Additional Languages (optional): Click Additional Languages (top-right) to provide translations.
    • Select the language from the drop-down.
    • Custom Activity Title: Set the message that will be displayed in Activity History widgets in the selected language.
  5. Click Preview.
  6. Click Create Campaign.
