Email Delivery Settings

Important: Oracle Guided Campaigns is only available if you have purchased licenses. Please contact your account representative for more information.

When sending out emails using Oracle Guided Campaigns, you may wish to configure some of the advanced settings to alter your email's send schedule or behavior.

If your campaign has multiple emails, these configurations will be applied to all emails in your campaign.

Sending options

You have a few options that can be configured:

  1. Break Into Smaller Batches
  2. If your audience is large, you can spread your send over a longer period.

This may be useful if you wish to control the outbound flow of your emails.

  3. Allow email to be sent to past recipients
  4. By default Eloqua does not send the exact same email to the exact same contact more than once. This is in place to prevent accidental spamming or repeat sending of emails.

You can chose to override this behavior if required.

  5. Include List unsubscribe header (checked by default)
  6. Some email clients rely on the use of an unsubscribe link in the header of your email to facilitate unsubscribes.

If you wish to include this automatically, you can do so here.

Omitting this unsubscribe link may affect your deliverability with some email providers.

Scheduling options

Scheduling options allows you to control the precise days/hours that your email is able to be sent out on.

If your contacts enter your email step during times that you have not selected, they will be held back until a permitted email schedule time is reached.

Timezone: Email scheduling is handled in the configured timezone of your campaign. This can be changed in the campaign's properties.
