Campaign statuses
The status of a campaign reports on the progress of a specific campaign. A campaign can have five statuses:
Campaign statuses are listed on each campaign tile on the Campaigns page.
Not started
After a campaign is created, and before it is published, it will have a Not Started status.
Running
After a campaign is published, it has a status of Running. If you need to edit your campaign after it is in Running, you can choose to have your campaign in Paused to make changes.
Running with errors
After users publish a campaign, it may run into errors. This means your campaign will have a status of Running with Errors. When you open a campaign that has a status of Running with Errors, Campaign Monitoring shows you which stages have errors.
Note: You can still run into errors after validating your campaign, because validating does not tell you about errors you may have outside of the campaign, such as a system error.
Paused
Once you have a Running campaign, you can choose to pause the campaign to allow you to go back and make edits to your campaign. Learn more about how to pause campaigns by seeing Pausing campaigns.
Ended
Once your campaign has passed the end date and time that you initially set when you created your campaign, it will have a status of Ended.
