Defining Stage Gate Default Timeout

Stage gates pause and send recipients through a program. A stage gate sends email notifications to specified email addresses when action is required, such as a decision about whether to send entries through the stage gate. If a response is not received within the specified timeout period, the stage gate sends the entries through the timeout path.

Use the Program Stage Gates Setting page to specify the default time out for stage gates. Users who create Programs can specify a different timeout for a specific stage gate.

To define the stage gates default time out:

  1. From the side navigation bar, select Account . (If you do not see the side navigation bar, click the Menu button (aka Hamburger menu) icon.)
  2. Select Program Settings, and then select Stage gate settings. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.)
  3. On the Program Stage Gates Setting page, specify the default timeout by entering the number of days in the text field (valid values are 1 day to 360 days).
  4. Click Save.
