Managing Campaign Launch Notifications

Navigation (for Account Administrators only): Select The Account icon Account on the side navigation bar. Select Notification settings, and then select Manage campaign notifications. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.) Follow the instructions provided on the pages.

Use this page to specify email addresses to receive launch progress and failure notifications for all Email, SMS, and Mobile App campaigns for the account.

Users will be able to specify different addresses for each campaign.

To select the channel for which to specify notifications, select the Email, SMS, or Mobile App tab.

Progress notifications

Send progress notification(s) to—enter the email addresses (separated by commas) to receive progress notifications. You can send notifications for skipped messages, sent messages, launch starts, and empty launches.

When skipped messages exceed %—for skipped messages, notifications are sent when the specified percentage of messages is skipped.

For sent messages—you can send the notification after the specified percentage of messages is sent, or when the launch is complete.

When the launch starts—notifications are sent once the campaign is launched.

When there is an empty launch—notifications are sent if the campaign launch results in an empty launch.

Failure notifications

Send skipped launch notifications to—enter the email addresses (separated by commas) to receive email notifications if a scheduled launch is skipped for any reason.

The notification contains information that identifies the campaign and program, and a pointer to the error.

Send launch failure notifications to—enter the email addresses (separated by commas) to receive email notifications if the launch fails for any reason.

The notification contains information that identifies the campaign and program, and a pointer to the error.

Failure reasons might include the following:

  • No Response from any of Number mail transfer agents (MTAs)
  • No Response from any of Number MTAs (and SMTP Server Busy on Failover)
  • SMTP Error
  • SMTP Error (and SMTP Server Busy on Failover)
  • SMTP Server Busy
