Understanding Folder Management

Oracle Responsys uses the concept of folders to represent storage locations for your campaigns, forms, and other objects, as well as a means of organizing them that suits the way you work.

On the side navigation bar, click The Folders icon Folders to create, delete, rename, export, and import folders, as well as view their contents.

Note: Click next to any content item to view its related menu selections.

Important: Folders and their contents may be viewed and edited by all users in your Oracle Responsys account.

Folder Naming Tips

  • Folders are displayed alphabetically.
  • Name folders to appear grouped by type of campaign or data.

    Example: Newsletter_date or Newsletter_subject.

  • Folder names can include only the following characters: A-Z a-z 0-9 space ! - = @ _ [ ] { }

Folder Management Tips

  • Minimizing the number of folders will improve performance and make navigation easier:
  • Export unused or obsolete folders, then delete them from the Folders page.
  • Folders are exported in Zip format.
  • Use the Favorites feature to display just the folders you work with most.
