Defining Custom Footers

Navigation (for Account Administrators only): Select The Account icon Account on the side navigation bar. Select Email footer management, and then select Footer customization. (Not seeing this choice? Refer to the Account management changes topic.) Follow the instructions provided on the pages.

If your account is set up for more than one recipient locale, you can specify that this footer will apply either to campaigns sent out in all recipient locales or only to campaigns sent out in a particular recipient locale.

Note: Applying a footer to one or more recipient locales does not automatically enable subaccounts to use those recipient locales. It simply makes the footer available to any subaccount set up to use the corresponding recipient locales.

"Powered-by" graphic URL: You can replace the standard "Powered by..." graphic in the footers of HTML messages.

Note: The file should be a small image in GIF or JPEG (.jpg) format, typically in the form of a logo saying, for example, "Powered by OurProduct." or "Powered by MyCompany.com."

Product name: If you do not specify a "powered by" graphic URL for the footers of HTML messages, this text (preceded by the words "Powered by") is used in its place. (If you specify a graphic URL, this text is not used.)

Note: If you don’t specify a graphic URL or a product name, the standard graphic will be used in the footers of HTML messages.

Company URL: You can make the "powered-by" graphic or product name be a clickable link to this URL.

Additional text: For HTML and plain-text messages, you can add text that will be displayed after the standard footer text.
