Importing Large Tables
Tip:You can import data into an existing table using the Import button on the data view window. This means that if you’re having trouble with importing a large database, you don’t need to start over if the import process made it part way through. You can fix the problem and edit the import file to pick up where the problem occurred.
Import Process Repeatedly Stops at Same Record
You probably have a corrupted record. You'll have to fix or discard this record and import the file again.
Import Process Stops at Different Records
The import file is probably OK. You may be having transmission problems. You might try breaking your import file into smaller pieces and importing separately.
Import Worked, But Data Garbled
If this is a delimited text file, the problem is probably that the delimiter or quotation mark is used inconsistently in the file or specified incorrectly for the import.
