All Item Types in Calendar

By default, the type of items a user can see in the calendar depends on which modules this user can access. The following table lists the types of calendar items, and the application access required to view each item type

With this feature, employees can see their task assignments and bookings in the calendar even if they do not have access to the Resources and Projects modules. This lets you control access to modules that are not needed while enabling employees to see their full schedule in the calendar.

Note:

Module access determines which type of user license is taken up by the employee. An employee with any combination of Account, Timesheets and Expenses application access takes up a Timesheets and Expenses (T&E) only license. An employee with any other application access takes up a Full user license. For more information, see Licenses.
