Map the OpenAir project stage from the NetSuite project

Check this box to import project stage information when importing a project record from NetSuite into OpenAir project. This lets you set the project stage using the OpenAir: Project Stage custom field on the project record (OpenAir subtab) in NetSuite and import it into OpenAir along with the other project record information.

If you want to import the project stage information only the first time a project record is imported from NetSuite into OpenAir, use a field mapping definition row and check the box in the initial only column. The project stage information will be imported when the integration creates a record in OpenAir but not when it updates a record already imported.

Important:

Review the following guidelines:

  • Make sure you have the exact same project stage records in both NetSuite and OpenAir, before you start using this feature. OpenAir NetSuite Connector returns an integration error if project stages do not match. In NetSuite, create OpenAir: Project Stage records to match each active OpenAir project stages.

The OpenAir: Project Stages [customrecord_oa_project_stages] custom record type and OpenAir: Project Stage [custentity_oa_project_stage] custom entity field are created when you install the NetSuite OpenAir SRP Integration bundle — Bundle ID 369637 (previously 2851) 1.21 or later version.

  • To review project stages configured in OpenAir, go to Administration > Application Settings > Projects > Project Stages.

  • Remember to create or update project stages in both applications when you make changes.

  • If the OpenAir: Project Stage field is empty on the NetSuite project record, the integration does not update the project stage on the OpenAir project record. This is to prevent any existing project stage being removed accidentally from a project in OpenAir.
