Disable NetSuite ID change acknowledgment for customers and projects
Check this box to disable the safeguard preventing the NetSuite ID from being changed or deleted accidentally. You should not check this box — a wrong NetSuite ID can impact adversely other parts of the integration.
The safeguard adds a two-step process to save a customer or project record in OpenAir that was already integrated when the value of the NetSuite ID custom field was changed. If the NetSuite ID was changed and you click Save, an error message appears and the Acknowledge NetSuite ID change box is added to the form. You must check the Acknowledge NetSuite ID change box and click Save again.
This safeguard can be useful when the real-time integration is used to export customer and project records to NetSuite, for example. If a user creates a new record, the save operation exports the record to NetSuite and the NetSuite ID is recorded in the OpenAir database. Without reloading the page, the NetSuite ID field still shows blank, however, and if the user clicks Save again accidentally and the safeguard is disabled, the NetSuite ID will be deleted.
