Switching to the New OpenAir NetSuite Connector UI

As announced in the October 8, 2022 OpenAir release notes, the New NetSuite Connector UI feature is required to use OpenAir NetSuite Connector. The NetSuite <> OpenAir integration does not work otherwise. If the feature is not enabled for your account and you are already using OpenAir NetSuite Connector, use the following steps to enable it and continue working with OpenAir NetSuite Connector.

Warning:

The NetSuite 2016.2 communication endpoint is available without support until the NetSuite 2023.2 release, at which point it will be retired. See Support for Existing WSDL Versions (external link to NetSuite SuiteAnswers | Answer ID: 10817).

The NetSuite 2016.2 communication endpoint can no longer be used for the NetSuite <> OpenAir integration, and the New NetSuite Connector UI is required to use OpenAir NetSuite Connector with the NetSuite 2020.1 communication endpoint.

To switch to the new OpenAir NetSuite Connector UI:

  1. In OpenAir, go to Administration > NetSuite Connector.

  2. Click the Tips button, then click Export NetSuite integration settings. A dialog appears.

  3. Select Save file and click OK to download the NetSuite Connector settings export file to your computer. The name of export file is netsuite_settings_<yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss>.json where <yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss> includes information about the date and time of the export.

  4. Contact OpenAir Customer Support and request the New NetSuite Connector UI feature.

  5. After the New NetSuite Connector UI feature is enabled for your account, go to the OpenAir NetSuite Connector UI in OpenAir.

  6. Click the Tips button, then click Browse under Import NetSuite integration settings.

  7. Select the netsuite_settings_<yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss>.json you downloaded previously to your computer, then click Import.

    Note:

If you are importing NetSuite Connector settings from a different OpenAir account, you will need to configure custom imports and exchange rate integrations settings manually for the account you are importing the NetSuite Connector settings to. To do so, click the Tips button, then click NetSuite Connector administration and configure the settings under Custom imports and Exchange rate integration. For more information, see Custom Imports and Exchange rate integration.

  8. Verify that your integration works as expected.
