Service Changes Impacting Infrastructure

End of Support for NetSuite Outbound Single Sign-On

Plan to upgrade your integration configuration before the NetSuite 2025.1 release to remove any dependency on the SuiteSignOn feature and ensure service continuity.

The Outbound Single Sign-on (SuiteSignOn) feature is scheduled for end of support in NetSuite 2025.1. Support for the SuiteSignOn feature in non-production accounts, such as sandbox accounts, ended with the NetSuite 2024.1 upgrade.

Warning:

The functionality relying on NetSuite Outbound Single Sign-On (SuiteSignOn) can stop working at any time after the NetSuite 2025.1 upgrade. If you use the NetSuite single sign-on or the NetSuite real-time integration (import) in your account, upgrade your integration to remove any dependency on SuiteSignOn as soon as possible.

For upgrade instructions, see Upgrading OpenAir NetSuite Connector Features to Remove the Dependency on SuiteSignOn.

Until the OpenAir 2023.2 release, the following NetSuite integration features relied on the SuiteSignOn feature as outbound single sign-on method:

  • OpenAir Within NetSuite (OpenAir NetSuite Single Sign-On Integration) — When enabled, this feature gives users access to OpenAir from within the NetSuite UI. See OpenAir Within NetSuite.

  • Real-time Record Import — When enabled, OpenAir NetSuite Connector imports records from NetSuite into OpenAir in real time when the record is saved in NetSuite. See Real-Time Record Import.

Upgraded versions for both features provide the same functionality and replace the dependency on the SuiteSignOn feature in NetSuite with more secure, modern, and reliable authentication methods:

Note:

OpenAir changes supporting the upgraded OpenAir Within NetSuite and Real-time Record Import features were delivered as part of the OpenAir 2023.2 release on October 7, 2023.

NetSuite bundles supporting the upgraded OpenAir Within NetSuite and Real-time Record Import features were released on February 7, 2024.
