Industries

Industries entities form.

Industries can provide you with a snapshot of which resources are suitable for a particular project. It is one of the standard Resource Profile elements provided by OpenAir. The Industries link only displays if you have activated this as a Resource profile option. See Resource Profile.

An Industry may involve a direct relationship such as working for a firm within the specified industry, or it may be defined indirectly such as a consultant supporting various industries. Some customers may require a certain level of industry knowledge to have employees engaged on their projects. Industries provide an additional search and reporting capability in your OpenAir account.

To create Industries:

  1. Go to Administration > Application Settings > Resources > Industries.

  2. Select New Industry from the Create Button.

  3. Type the Name of the Industry.

  4. Add Description, if desired.

  5. Select the check box for Active Industry.

  6. Click Save.

Note:

Industry profiles may be disabled for your account. If you would like Industries to be available in, or removed from Administration > Application Settings > Resources > Industries, contact OpenAir Customer Support.
