Accounts receivable aging summary

Use the Accounts receivable aging summary report in the Receivables business area in Menu > Reports to review each customer’s remaining open balance in current and overdue aging periods as of a selected date. The report applies payments and credits through that date, excludes later and fully settled transactions, and lets you expand a customer to inspect the contributing balances.

The report calculates the remaining open amount after payments and credits applied by the selected date. A partially paid invoice contributes only its remaining amount. Fully paid or fully applied transactions and transactions dated after the selected date are excluded. Unapplied customer payments and credits can reduce a customer’s total open balance.

The aging period is based on the number of days between a transaction’s due date and the selected date. Transactions that are not past due remain current.

Open Menu > Reports. In Search by report or description, enter Accounts receivable aging summary, press Enter, and select the report. Select Change date range, choose the Date in the Date range drawer, and apply the change. As needed, filter by Customer or Customer type. Expand a customer or select an amount to review the transactions included in the total.

Use Accounts receivable aging detail when you need transaction-level information.
