Accounts receivable aging detail

Use the Accounts receivable aging detail report in the Receivables business area in Menu > Reports to review the individual transactions that make up each customer’s open balance as of a selected date. It shows each transaction’s due date, age, and remaining amount so that current and overdue receivables can be investigated directly.

The report shows transaction details such as the transaction date, transaction ID, due date, days aged, and remaining open amount. Days aged is the number of days between the due date and the selected date. A transaction that is not past due has an age of zero and remains current.

Payments and credits applied by the selected date reduce the open amount. A partially paid invoice contributes only its remaining amount. Fully paid or fully applied transactions and transactions dated after the selected date are excluded. Unapplied customer payments and credits can appear as negative open amounts.

Open Menu > Reports. In Search by report or description, enter Accounts receivable aging detail, press Enter, and select the report. Select Change date range, choose the Date in the Date range drawer, and apply the change. As needed, filter by Customer, Transaction type, Transaction ID, or Customer type.

Use Accounts receivable aging summary for totals by customer and aging period.
