Define a segment ID

A segment ID is the permanent identifier used for integrations, scripts, and reporting. It is separate from the segment name shown to users.

When you enter a segment name, QuickStart generates the complete Segment ID, including the required f_ prefix. Review the generated ID. If you change it, retain the f_ prefix, make the complete ID unique, and follow your organization’s naming convention.

The segment ID cannot be changed after the segment is created. Confirm it before selecting Next.
