Edit an existing segment

Edit a segment to change its name, values, or the records and transactions where it applies. Open Menu > Administration > Customization > Segments.

Before you begin

You need the Administrator access profile or the Customization: create fields and segments permission set. The segment ID cannot be changed after the segment is created.

Edit a segment

  1. Open Menu > Administration > Customization > Segments.

  2. Find the segment, open its row action menu, and select Edit.

  3. Change Segment name or the segment values.

  4. Select Next.

  5. Under Applies to, change the transaction level, source records, or transaction types where the segment is available.

  6. Select Update.

The updated segment name, values, and applicability are saved and appear on the selected records and transactions.
