Delete a segmentation value
Delete an unused segment value so that users can no longer select it. Open Menu > Administration > Customization > Segments.
Before you begin

You need the Administrator access profile or the Customization: create fields and segments permission set.

A value used on a transaction that affects the general ledger cannot be deleted. Retain the value to preserve historical data, or replace it on affected transactions when your accounting policy permits the change.
Delete a segment value

Open Menu > Administration > Customization > Segments.

Find the segment, open its row action menu, and select Edit.

Under Add segmentation values, select the delete icon for the value.

Select Next.

Review Applies to, and then select Update.
The deleted value no longer appears as an available choice for the segment.
