Fulfill a sales order

Create an item fulfillment when a submitted sales order is ready to ship. Open Menu, and then select Products and services > Fulfillments.

Before you begin

You need a submitted sales order with a fulfillable item, a fulfillment location, and available quantity. See Fulfillments for complete setup and inventory guidance.

To fulfill a sales order

1. Open Menu, and then select Products and services > Fulfillments.
2. Select Orders to fulfill.
3. For the eligible sales order, open its row Actions menu, and then select Fulfill sales order.
4. On the item fulfillment, review the items and quantities and complete the shipping information or select an available fulfillment package.
5. Select Submit.

QuickStart creates an item fulfillment with a unique IF number. A partially fulfilled order remains available until its remaining fulfillable quantity is shipped or closed.
