Defining Banking Integration Preferences for Brazil
Create banking integration preferences to define account-wide settings to use the Brazil Banking Integration SuiteApp. You can only have one banking integration preferences record in your NetSuite account.
Before you define your banking integration preferences, create an API secret to encrypt sensitive banking information, such as your account number. Ensure you adhere to the following requirements:
-
Create a specific API secret for this encryption.
-
Create a 32-character password for the API secret.
-
Don't change the password after you associate the API secret with the banking integration preferences.
-
Don't associate another API secret, with a different password, to the banking integration preferences.
After NetSuite encrypts information with the API secret, you can no longer change the password of your secret or use a different secret with a different password. Changing the password can cause encryption and decryption issues and result in data loss.
