Tax Revenue Codes for Brazil
To access the Brazil Reports documentation in Brazilian Portuguese (Português do Brasil), see Brazil Reports.
In Brazil, you must classify your company's taxable revenues using a revenue code defined by tax authorities.
The Brazil Reports SuiteApp provides predefined records for tax revenue codes defined by federal tax authorities. You can assign the revenue codes to the tax bills you generate with NetSuite. For more information about tax bills, see Tax Bills for Brazil.
Before you assign tax revenue codes, be aware that:
-
To make the predefined revenue codes available in tax bills, you need to associate the types of tax assessments to which the codes apply.
For more information, see Associating Revenue Codes with Tax Assessments for Brazil.
-
To classify revenues subject to ICMS or ISS, you must create records for the revenue codes defined by states or municipalities where you do business.
For more information, see Creating Tax Revenue Codes for Brazil.
-
For the IRPJ and CSLL taxes, you can define default tax revenue codes for transaction natures. When you generate a tax bill, the system populates the revenue codes you define.
For more information, see Setting Up Default Revenue Codes for IRPJ and CSLL.
