SuiteProcurement Overview

The SuiteProcurement SuiteApp lets you to streamline and automate indirect procurement processes, from procuring items to creating purchase orders, managing approvals, and processing bills. You can select and purchase items online and receive bills after purchase.

Indirect procurement involves the purchase of services, supplies, and goods such as computers, maintenance, and travel that are necessary to operate a business.

The SuiteProcurement SuiteApp works together with Oracle Business Network (OBN) and NetSuite Electronic Business (NSEB) SuiteApp to provide the indirect procurement features. For more information, see NetSuite Guide to Integrate with OBN.

Supported Items

The SuiteProcurement SuiteApp supports non-inventory items for purchase. To include this type of item for SuiteProcurement purchases, check the Include in NetSuite Category box on an item record.

Role Availability

Any employee with the Administrator or employee center role can work with the SuiteProcurement SuiteApp. However, only account administrators can set up and install the SuiteApp and run scripts.

Before you start using the SuiteProcurement SuiteApp, you must complete the following tasks in the order specified.

  1. Complete the prerequisites.

  2. Install the SuiteProcurement SuiteApp

  3. Set up SuiteProcurement preferences
