Adjusting Inventory Assessments

After you create an inventory assessment and generate the inventory ownership and custody report, you may realize some information contained in the report is incorrect. You can create an inventory adjustment if you need to adjust the quantity of one or more items listed on the report.

When you generate the EFD IPI ICMS file for the assessment's following period, NetSuite will include the adjustments on the K section of the file.

To adjust an inventory assessment:

1. Go to Reports > Brazil Reports > Inventory Assessment.

2. Click View next to the inventory assessment record you want.

   The inventory assessment record opens.

3. Click Adjust Inventory.

   A new inventory adjustment record opens in edit mode.

4. Enter the relevant information about the adjustment.

5. Click Save.

   You don't need to generate the inventory ownership and custody report again after you adjust the inventory.
