Assigning a Quality Inspection to a Specification

To assign a quality inspection to a specification:

  1. To assign an inspection to this specification, in the Inspections subtab, click Add Inspection.

    Note:

    When a specification is marked as Is Inactive, it cannot be modified or selected for a new context definition.

  2. Enter a Sequence number.

    This order is used when the inspection result is checked.

    For example, step 1, 3, or 8.

  3. Select the Inspection name to assign to this specification record.

    Alternatively, you can click New to add a new inspection.

    Note:

    When an inspection is marked as Is Inactive, it can't be changed or picked for a new context definition.

    NetSuite fills in the Inspection Method field from the inspection you selected. For more information, see Quality Inspections.

  4. Click Save.

    The Detail Frequency (Skip Lot) and Sample Rate set for the inspection show here. For more information, see Quality Inspections.

    On the Data Fields subtab, you’ll see the data fields created in the quality inspection. For more information, see Data Fields.
