Switching Between Your Roles and Companies
In NetSuite Next, you can now switch between your roles and companies with the profile menu. The profile menu provides information about your roles and companies. From the profile menu, you can also go to the Set Preferences page, access the help center, contact support, and sign out of your account.
If you have more than one role, the profile menu displays in the low left corner of your screen at all times. Every time you log in, the profile menu appears expanded to clearly show both the account name and role name. As you continue navigating the system, the menu collapses and shows only your avatar icon.
For single-role accounts, the icon is hidden but you can access it by going to the Explore menu.
The menu helps you visually differentiate between roles and environments by color. To change the color, on the profile menu, click Set preferences. On the Appearance subtab, in the Colors field, select the color theme.
The Exit NetSuite Next option might not be available to all users. Contact a user with the Administrator role for more information.
