PCC Calculation (Brazilian Hub SuiteApp)

You should withhold the Programa de Integração Social (PIS), Contribuição para o Financiamento da Seguridade Social (COFINS), and the Contribuição Social sobre o Lucro Líquido (CSLL) taxes, known as PCC, on services your company provides or hires.

Setting Up PCC Calculation on Provided Services

You should withhold the PCC taxes on services your company provides.

To set up PCC calculation on provided services:

  1. Go to BRHub > Fiscal > Parametrização de Impostos de Serviço.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click the PIS/COFINS/CSLL subtab.

  4. Click the PIS/COFINS/CSLL - Saída sublist.

  5. In the Código de Serviço column, select the service code associated with the service provided.

    The column displays the service codes listed on the attachments of Law no. 116, of July 31, 2003, from the Brazilian federal government.

  6. In the Alíquota PIS column, enter the PIS rate on the service.

  7. In the Valor Mínimo PIS column, enter the minimum amount required to collect PIS.

    The minimum amount required to collect the PIS tax must be the same amount defined for COFINS and CSLL.

  8. In the Alíquota COFINS column, enter the COFINS rate on the service.

  9. In the Valor Mínimo COFINS column, enter the minimum amount required to collect COFINS.

    The minimum amount required to collect the COFINS tax must be the same amount defined for PIS and CSLL.

  10. In the Alíquota CSLL column, enter the CSLL rate on the service.

  11. In the Valor Mínimo CSLL column, enter the minimum amount required to collect CSLL.

    The minimum amount required to collect the CSLL tax must be the same amount defined for PIS and COFINS.

  12. In the Data Inicial Vigência column, enter or select the start date for the effectiveness of the parameter.

    The start date is the date on which the parameter takes effect for transactions subject to PCC. The date is usually defined by law.

  13. (Optional) If the parameter expires on a date predetermined by law, in the Data Final Vigência column, enter or select the end date for the effectiveness of the parameter.

    The end date is the date on which the parameter expires, losing its effect. You can edit this field later if the law changes and affects the effectiveness of the parameter.

  14. (Optional) If the parameter should only apply to a certain service item, in the Item column, select the service item the parameter applies to.

  15. Click Add.

  16. Repeat the previous steps to add parameters for as many services as required.

  17. Click Save.

You should withhold the PCC taxes on services your company hires.

To set up PCC calculation on received services:

  1. Go to BRHub > Fiscal > Parametrização de Impostos de Serviço.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click the PIS/COFINS/CSLL subtab.

  4. Click the PIS/COFINS/CSLL - Entrada sublist.

  5. In the Código de Serviço column, select the service code associated with the service taken.

    The column displays the service codes listed on the attachments of Law no. 116, of July 31, 2003, from the Brazilian federal government.

  6. In the Alíquota PIS column, enter the PIS rate on the service.

  7. In the Valor Mínimo PIS column, enter the minimum amount required to collect PIS.

    The minimum amount required to collect the PIS tax must be the same amount defined for COFINS and CSLL.

  8. In the Alíquota COFINS column, enter the COFINS rate on the service.
