Give Customers Permission to Request and View Quotes

Edit the Customer Center role in NetSuite so your customers can request a quote and view their submitted quotes.

To edit the Customer Center role permissions for Quotes:

  1. Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

  2. Click Customize next to the Customer Center role.

  3. Go to the Permissions tab and the Transactions subtab.

  4. Change the level of access for the Estimate/Quote permission to Create.

  5. Click OK to accept the change.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Give your customers access to the Customer Center role so they can view quotes. See the Account Setup help topic Giving Customers Access for instructions.

After a customer submits a quote request, NetSuite creates an Estimate/Quote record.
