Thailand Invoicing Features
Thailand invoicing features are included in the Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp, which you must manually install.
The Southeast Asia Localization SuiteApp contains Thailand Tax Invoice and Credit Memo Templates. The templates include the minimum information required by the Thailand Revenue Department and prescribed by local business practices when you print and issue tax invoices and credit memos to your customers. A tax invoice must be issued to VAT-registered customers, who should use the document to support their input tax claim. For more information, see Thailand Tax Invoice and Credit Memo Templates.
The Thailand tax invoice and credit memo templates include a section on VAT Summary, which is displayed if a transaction is in foreign currency and composed of several items with different tax codes. For more information, see Support for Transactions in Foreign Currency and Support for Transactions with Multiple Tax Codes.
Aside from the invoice and credit memo templates, a custom field is added in customer and vendor records for entering the customer's or vendor's branch code assigned by the Thailand Revenue Department. The custom field is added if your company or any subsidiaries has a Thailand nexus. The same field is also added in sale and purchase transactions. For more information, see Branch ID Field.
Another custom field is also added in sale transactions for entering the total amount in words, when the nexus country of the transaction is Thailand. For more information, see Transaction Amount in Words Field.
Print status is included in the printed tax invoice and credit memo if you use the Thailand Tax Invoice and Credit Memo Templates, and the nexus country of the transaction is Thailand. For more information, see Print Status.
