Required Permissions for Editing Custom Segment Values

To be able to edit a custom segment's values, a user must have the necessary privileges. There are several permission configurations that can result in users having this access.

The following table describes examples of users with various permission configurations and procedures for how each group can change values.

Description	Permitted Methods for Editing Values
Users assigned to the Administrator role	Editing the Values of a Custom Segment by Updating the Segment Definition Editing Values of a Custom Segment by Clicking Manage Values
Users with both of the following: The Edit or Full level of the Value Management Access permission The Edit or Full level of the Custom Segments permission	Editing the Values of a Custom Segment by Updating the Segment Definition Editing Values of a Custom Segment by Clicking Manage Values
Users with both of the following: The Edit or Full level of the Value Management Access permission The View level of the Custom Segments permission	Editing Values of a Custom Segment by Clicking Manage Values

Note:

Be aware that even if users have only the Edit or Full value of the Custom Segments permission, they can assign themselves the Value Management Access permission for any custom segment.
