View an Updated Prebuilt Report

After you upgrade or apply pathches, some of the prebuilt report might get updated.

If the updated prebuilt report wasn't customized, you can open the prebuilt report and view the changes in the prebuilt report.

If the updated prebuilt report was customized, if you try to open the prebuilt report, the customized report opens because the customized report overrides the prebuilt report as they both have the same name. In this case, you need to temporarily rename the customized report and then view the prebuilt report.

Note:

Don't rename any folders. Rename only the customized report to view the prebuilt report.

1. Access Publisher using the /xmlpserver URL (for example: http://hostname.com:port/xmlpserver).
2. If the updated prebuilt report was customized, temporarily change the name of the customized report.
3. Locate the updated prebuilt report in the Catalog and open the prebuilt report to view the changes made in the report.
4. If you renamed a customized report so that you can view the prebuilt report, change the name of the customized report to the same name as the corresponding prebuilt report.
   This enables the prebuilt report to map to it's customized report.
