Manage Data Access for Users

Use the Cloud ERP Manage Data Access for Users task in the Users and Security functional area to assign users access to appropriate data based on their job roles.

To assign users access to appropriate data based on their job roles, complete these steps:

  1. Log in to Functional Setup Manager (FSM).
  2. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Data Access for Users task:
    • Offering: Financials
    • Functional Area: Users and Security
    • Task: Manage Data Access for Users

      You can also use this navigation: Navigator > My Enterprise > Setup and Maintenance > Tasks panel tab > Search > Manage Data Access for Users.

  3. On the Manage Data Access for Users page, select Users without Data Access to view users who do not have data access. Alternatively, select Users with Data Access to assign additional data access to users.
  4. To add data access for a user, in the Search Results section, either click the Create (+) icon to open the Create Data Access for Users dialog box or the Authorize Data Access button. For example: Provide data access to cash and treasury users for the legal entity and business unit.
  5. On the Create Data Access for Users dialog box, complete the required fields.
  6. Click Save and Close.
  7. Click Done.
