Creating Custom Dimensions

You can define or upload the custom dimensions. Oracle supports .xlsx and .csv format files.

To create custom dimensions:

1. Open the Models listing page.

2. Click the model you want to open, and from the Action menu, select Open-Checkout.

3. In the Account View, from the Actions menu, click Create Custom Dimensions.

   The Custom Dimensions page is displayed.

   Note:

   You can add up to 1500 members and 10 dimensions.

4. Select an option:

   • Click and upload the custom dimensions file by selecting a file.

     The Upload Dimensions Results dialog is displayed. Verify then click OK.

   • Click Create Custom Dimensions.

     The options are:

     Options	Description
     	Click to create a new custom dimensions.
     	Click to add a child member. Note: You can add multiple children by selecting Insert Children from the context menu.
     	Click to add a sibling. Note: You can add multiple siblings by selecting Insert Siblings from the context menu.
     	Click to move the dimensions or members up.
     	Click to move the dimensions or members down.
     	Click to delete the dimensions or members.
     	Click to expand the selection.
     	Click to collapse the selection.

     Note:

     You can also use context menu options.

5. Optional: Click Select Another Dimension File to add custom dimensions to the existing file.

6. Click Save and Close.

   Note:

   The Custom Dimension Filter is active on the Account View page.
