Working with Custom Dimensions

Strategic Modeling now allows you to build, manage, and assign sparse custom dimensions.

Sparse Custom Dimensions allow users far more flexibility when designing Strategic Modeling models. Dimension members can be assigned to accounts individually, while unrelated members can be excluded. This will help reduce the model size and increase performance and make the model account structure more relevant to the business needs.

You can import custom dimensions from external .xlsx or .csv files. You can assign and filter custom dimensions and their members as required.
