How You Update Punchout Item Search Index

You can create new items or price lists when contracts are established, renegotiated, or renewed. Typically the items or price list provided by the suppliers is a complete list of items that the customer can purchase or order.

You can remove punchout items from a catalog by uploading a blank item template for that catalog, and then uploading the template again, with the items removed. If you make changes to specific items, the new upload file must contain all the items that you want to be associated with that punchout catalog, not just the changed items.

Updates can include the following changes:

  • Changes in prices

  • Replacing items

  • Removing items that are no longer available

  • Adding new items

  • Fixing any data errors
