How can I resolve the invalid date range error when I create a surrogate response?

When you create a surrogate response, the invalid date range error can occur for these reasons:

  • In the Response Received On field, if you didn't enter a date in between the negotiation open date and the current system date.
  • If the time format preference is set to hours and minutes and you created a surrogate response within a minute after publishing the negotiation.

    For example, for a negotiation that you published on say 06/21/2022 11:32 AM, you created a surrogate response in the same minute (that is, within 11:32 AM).

To resolve the invalid date range error, navigate to the Set Preferences work area, click Navigator > Tools > Set Preferences.

On the Preferences page, click Regional. In the Time Format field, select a time format that includes seconds; for example, HH.mm.SS. Click Save and Close.
