Overview of Oracle Project Control Configuration

The Oracle Project Control functional area lets you manage the financial and budgeting aspects of projects.

Using Project Control, you can configure your enterprise on how you monitor project execution, budget, forecast, and track progress. You can configure period profiles, spread curves, project plan types, and financial plan types and use Business Process Engineering Language (BPEL) workflows to manage budget and forecast approvals.

The preliminary step is to use the Setup and Maintenance work area to select the features and settings that you want to implement for your enterprise.
