Setting Up AI Summary of Inspection Comments

The AI summary of inspection comments is embedded in the inspection result pages and is ready to use based on agency setup.

Use AI summary of inspection comments to help inspectors generate a concise inspection result summary in the Inspector Application. The summary consolidates inspection data, checklist outcomes, checklist item outcomes, and related comments into a narrative that inspectors can review and save as an editable inspection comment. The summary can highlight major violations, failed items, and impacted reference entities when that information is available in comments.

Before inspectors use AI summary of inspection comments, make sure that:

• Inspection setup is complete for the applicable offering.

• AI functionality is enabled for the offering where inspectors perform inspections.

  Enable AI functionality for Permits to use the summary for permit inspections. Enable AI functionality for Business Licenses to use the summary for business license inspections. Enable AI functionality for both offerings if inspectors use inspection AI functionality in both areas.

• Inspector users have the required inspection AI access.

  For security, assign the inspection AI access required for users of the Inspector Application: Use ORA_DR_PSC_INSPECTIONS_AI_ASSISTANT_DUTY as the duty role used for inspection AI access.

The AI summary doesn't require additional setup for a template or workflow.
